Lyman Museum and Mission House

Established in 1839 by missionaries David and Sarah Lyman, this site is one of Hawaii’s oldest wooden buildings and provides insights into missionary life and early Hawaiian culture. The museum features a blend of natural and cultural history, including Hawaiian artifacts, geological exhibits, and insights into the islands’ ecological diversity. It offers a window into how missionary efforts shaped Hawaii’s history.

She's also held leadership roles at Kaiser Permanente, Macmillan Publishing, and the USS Missouri Memorial Association. She graduated from Harvard University with a Masters in Business Management, from Indiana University with a Bachelors in Journalism, and she did her graduate studies in historic preservation at the University of Hawaii.
