Lillian Fitzpatrick

Lillian Fitzpatrick volunteered as a nurse in Siberia as part of the first Hawaii unit. After a fast twelve-day journey to Vladivostok, she was quickly assigned to Russian Island Hospital. Her work involved caring for Czech and Russian soldiers and aiding in sanitation efforts to combat typhus and other epidemics spreading across military and civilian populations
