Grace Allen (Mrs. G. F. Allen)

Grace Allen added symbolic and practical force to the United War Work Campaign by participating in the opening parade, driving a tractor as part of a section highlighting women’s contributions. Her highly visible participation emphasized the critical labor women provided on farms and in community services, reinforcing the campaign’s call for continued homefront engagement even after the armistice was signed.
