Herman Kaaukea

Herman Kaaukea was twenty-two years old when he enlisted inthe U.S. Navy on August 19, 1916 and became a musician second class on the USS Navajo. He died of Tuberculosis at Naval Station, Pearl Harbor on September 2, 1918 leaving behind his wife, Lily.
