Ka‘ena Point Railway

The west side of Oahu was historically connected by the Oahu Railway and Land Company train system. Portions of the railway infrastructure, including bridges and rail alignments near Ka‘ena Point, serve as reminders of this transportation era, which was pivotal for sugar and pineapple plantations in the early 20th century. Exploring these remnants reveals the industrial past that shaped modern Oahu​.
